WAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Why are Hand-Signed Labels sought after by sophisticated collectors?  Over time, there has been much interest in the autographs of famous figures in the coin world.  Passionate coin collectors take great pleasure in the “hunt” for their treasured autograph signed labels. It is no surprise that certified coin labels quickly became favorites of coin collectors from all over the world.  Of all the autographs in the numismatic world, collectors find John Mercanti signed coins to be the most desirable.

Who is Elizabeth Jones?

The first and only woman appointed to the prestigious position of US Mint Chief Engraver, Elizabeth Jones served from 1981–1990. During that time, Jones supervised the introduction of the American Silver and Gold Eagles, as well as the launch of the modern US Mint Commemorative Coin Program. She also designed a number of iconic modern commemorative coins.  Elizabeth Jones individually hand-signs labels exclusively for NGC.

Why Collect/Invest in American Eagles?

Each coin is a work of art in its grace and beauty. The American Silver Eagle bullion coins may be used to fund Individual Retirement Account investments. These silver dollars are a great investment as collectors flock to this rare coin.

Grading Service

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC)

NGC has certified over 47 million coins.  They offer NGC certification which consists of authentication, grading, attribution, and encapsulation in plastic holders. As a member of the Certified Collectibles Group, NGC is the official grading service for American Numismatic Association since 1995.Each year, the NGC Census reports information about the coin issues.  The NGC certification by grade helps to determine the value of each coin.

BIG DOINGS AHEAD

In mid-2021, Mercanti’s rendition of the heraldic eagle is rumored to be replaced by a new reverse design. As the excitement grows, the demand for the original 1985, the pre-change 2021, and the soon to be released new design has us all on the edge of our seats.

If not delayed, this would be the only time that the US Mint would be producing two designs in the same year. 2021 is surely shaping up to be a legendary year for collector
